Posting #1 - Arrival and Kruger National Park

The adventure has begun! We all arrived safely in Johannesburg and stayed at my favorite bed & breakfast, The Sleep Eezy Cottages, owned by Moira and Lawrence. What fantastic hosts! It's like our own little Garden of Eden with milk and honey for breakfast (actually quiche and croissants and other delicacies).
Monday morning we set off right away for the Lowveld and Kruger National Park, enjoying purple jacaranda blossoms and great scenery along the escarpment. We stayed in little huts at Skukuza within the park and then spent a full day looking for animals. It was an incredible day, as we had close encounters with elephants, giraffe, zebra, water buffalo, rhinos and many other animals.
